About CREATE!
CREATE! grew from a series of workshops and an MBA elective dubbed “Summer Camp,” where half the students started the class announcing, “I’m not creative.”
By developing their own creative process, participants have a renewed sense of the contributions they could create in their personal and professional lives.
In addition, by understanding their own skills, they were also better able to work in teams helping others develop.
About Cathy
CREATE! is the collision of the two halves of my life. One half—let’s call it the left half—has been spent as a financial management major, a law student and a lawyer in a trial practice, a college professor, even a university administrator. This has been the mature, linear, responsible side of my life.
In addition to the logical, linear, bill-paying side of my life, I’m also the author of five mystery novels, including St. Martin’s Malice Domestic Best Novel award-winning Southern Fried, and nonfiction books and articles.
I offer seminars and workshops on developing the creative process. Clients have included banks, internal audit teams, hospitals, physicians and health care groups, not-for-profits, city-county governments, property managers, civic leadership training programs, jail inmates, women in recovery, writers, artists, and others.
